Not posted in a while... Here's what's been happening in the land of Metalvania;

I've managed to get everything set up the way I like it, so hopefully I'll be able to be a bit more productive in the coming weeks. Sadly, I've got exams at the start of January which will keep me occupied for a while. But I'm hopeful that I'll be able to re-record my cover of Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II soon.

So you'd better be getting psyched, dammit!!! :P

This song was recorded some time ago, before I had major problems with my recording software due to installing a new soundcard. This week I discovered a program that works far better than what I was using before (Mackie Tracktion 2, if you're interested), and this is the result of a quick remastering session.

New songs will be of better quality (with any luck) and I'll no doubt revisit this song again in the future and record an even HEAVIER version, cause it's just so damn good! :P

This is a temporary site for the my music project "Metalvania". My ultimate aim is to record metal versions of all the classic (and obscure) game soundtracks from the era of my childhood (C64, NES, SNES, Megadrive/Genesis etc.). The main focus will obviously be on the excellent Castlevania series.
